January Favourites.

Hello everyone today's blog post is going to be my January Favourites. This month I have used quite a lot of products because at Christmas time I got quite a lot of stuff. Clothing, Make Up, Skin Care and Body Care. So I thought I would put all the things I have been loving through the month.

Clothing...

This month I have only been loving 4 things. My tartan scarf from Primark, I wear this pretty much everyday. Myy white Nike Air Force 1, my boyfriend got me he didn't get me them for christmas I have had them for a while but I have been wearing the pretty much everyday. My Nike Flexi Training Shoes I have been getting back out running this year, I got these a few months ago at one of the Nike factory stores. Last I don't think this is perticuarly a clothing item but it's going here anyway my new Zara City Office Mini Bag in navy.

Make-up...

For make up I have been trying not to wear as much because after christmas because of all the chocolate and alcohol I was eating and drinking my face broke out, so I have been trying not to use too much make up so I can let my skin breath. I have been using Benefit They're Real mascara, for mascara I don't like to use the ones with a plastic applicator but this one is amazing it separates your lashes and doesn't make them look clumpy, the next product is Maybeline Colour Tattoos my favourite one is On and On Bronze it just puts a nice colour on your eyes.

Skincare...

Skincare is my biggest obsession some of the product I have already done a review Bioderma and La Roche Posey Effaclar Duo, I have also just recently discovered The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter I want to try the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm but have never used a solid cleanser before and the Emma Hardie one is quite expensive so I though I would try this one and so far I really enjoy it. This month I have also really been loving the Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed years ago I use to use the Soap & Glory Scrub Your Nose In It but I think it is now discontinued because I can't find it online and in any of the Boots stores so I thought I would try this one it does the same job as the Scrub Your Nose In It the only diffrence is that the No Clogs Allowed has a self healing effect to it. And the last skin care product that I have been using is Maybeline Baby Skin I have only been using this for about 3 weeks and so far it has been really good I use it when I have make up on and it make my face look really smooth.

Body Care...

This month I have decided that I will stop buying beauty products because over christmas I bought far to much stuff so from 1st January until 1st February I would not buy anything apart from essentials dry shampoo, shampoo conditioner, shower gel and basic necessities. So for this month I have tried to use up as much stuff as I can. First off The Body Shop Strawberry and Satsuma Body Butters I have had these since summer time I used them a few times and I liked them but they kinda got put back in a box and hidden away. Fake Bake Instant I have had this for quite a while and it is almost past it experation date and I would rather use it up than through it away so I have been using it on my legs just to give them a nice glow. Hollister Body Mist Solana Beach I like the one this is probably about my 3rd bottle and I still enjoy it, I do think it is a bit of a love hate fragrance I like it but my mum can not stand the smell.

What's In My Make Up Bag.

Hello everyone today's blog post it going to be What's in my Make up Bag

My Empties

Hello everyone here it is finally My Empties,

It has took me quite a while to finish things up. I feel that it takes me forever to finish products but here we go anyway.

First of all as everyone and their granny uses Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes, But they sometimes irritate my skin then I found the Simple Kind to Skin+ Radiance Brightening Wipes and I really like them because they don't brake my skin out.

Next is the most amazing smelling body scrub ever the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub. It smells like green starburst. I use this when I shave my legs and it makes the skin really soft and moisturised. If u can get your hands on this the I highly recommend that you go and give it a sniff because you will fall in love.

The next product was really just a novelty of using Lynx Attract for her body spray. It smells nice it lasts all day. I don't think I will repurchase it took my ages to finish and I always forgot that I had it still a good product though

Next is Sure woman Long Lasting Protection Clear Aqua Crystal Anti-Perspirant I have been using this deoderant since I was about 13 or 14 I really like it, it doesn't leave white marks. It is a bit of a lie though it says that it is 48 hours protection I apply this probably about 7 or 8 times through the day but apart from that it's really good it doesn't have a clinical smell of it to me it just smells clean to me.

Next Johnson's Baby Powder I use to use this on my hair on the days my hair needed washed instead of using dry shampoo which is basically the same thing I only used this when I was blonde not the I have brown hair it just looks to powdery but another product I used for years .

Lush's BIG Sea Salt Shampoo before I used this my hair was really flat and had no life I tried loads of shampoos but nothing was working so I went to lush to see if they had anything natural that would perk it up a bit the girl recommended her favourite big shampoo when I use this my hair feels like it has just came out of the hairdressers the girl advised to to use it as an everyday shampoo because it has sea salt in it which make it very drying so she said use a deep conditioner when using it.

Another product from Soap and Glory Hand Food I have repurchased hand food about 9 times and at Christmas and birthdays I always get them in a set like this year I got 5. It does take a while to use up because a little goes a long way.

Next is MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC41 I use to use this as just my foundation but I mostly use this as a setting powder there is still a bit left but I have had it for a long time so I am just classing it as finished.

MAC Cleanse Off Oil I have talked about this before in my night time skin care routine I really like it dissolves waterproof mascara or you can just use this as just a cleanser.

Next is Garnier Mineral invisidry anti humidity anti perspirant I really just bought this product when I was going to Florida in the summer I needed a roll-on deoderant and because I was wearing a lot of white I read in a blog post (can not for the life of me remember who's) and they where saying that mineral deoderants will stop the yellow colouring on the sleeves of tops. It didn't leave any yellow marks but because it is a roll on and Florida is warm the ball in it I take it must have gotten stuck round the sides I have cleaned it with warm water and tried to put a pin round the sides to clear away what is there but it's still not for working and it's annoying because it is still half full and I liked it the few chances I had to use it so another one I am just classing it as finished.

The last things are perfumes I change my mind on perfumes quite a lot one minute I like fruity one then I like musky ones other times they make me feel really sick and I just stick to a body spray but these ones are all different Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy, Paco Rabanne Lady Million, Victoria Beckham and Chanel Chance

Urban Decay Naked Basics Pallet

Hello everyone today I am going to talk about Urban Decay Naked Basics Pallet. I unfortunately do not own and of the other 3 Naked Pallets. I am holding out for the new Naked 3 Pallet but the basics still does the job for me just now.

The pallet it's self is small slim and compact so on a night out it is easy to put in my handbag. It comes with a 6 neutral shades one shimmer the other 5 are matt. The shimmery one is called Venus and the others are called Foxy, Walk of Shame (W.O.S) Naked 2, Faint and the last one is black called Crave. 

When I apply the eye shadows it will usually use Walk of Shame as a base colour then to darken it I use Naked 2 and in the crease and outer corners I use Faint with a fluffy blending brush usually mac 217 brush. Then I use crave as an eyeliner with an angled brush and smudge it out. I bought an eyeliner years ago from avon I think and it has the liner on one side and the smudger on the other side so I just use that, I think you can buy a lot of drugstore eyeliners that have them on them. I went way off track there!! So anyway after all the I will use Venus on my brow bone just because it gives my face a bit more definition. 

I bought my pallet in the summer and I think it was about £20.75 a bit of a random price from debenhams. If you purchase it from debenhams they take you e-mail address and let you know about any events they are having, offers and anything new that they are bringing out.

New year, New me

Hello everyone, if you read my last blog post you will see that I said I was not going to do any New Year Resolutions. It is only 4 days into 2014 and already I have changed my mind on that I don't like that idea any more. So this post isn't really about Resolutions it's more about life changing decisions.

So number 1. Is going to be get more healthy, before Christmas I would walk everyday whether it was walking from my house to work (about 15-20 minute walk) or on my day off walking over to the town or the park. As I have mentioned before I like in Scotland where for the last month it has rained and had gale force winds constantly I also have frizzy curly hair and everyone knows that frizzy curly hair and rain and wind does not mix very well!! So luckily for me my dad has been off on holiday from his work for most of December and he was giving me a lift to and from work which is not good. Over Christmas and new year I have accumulated almost my full body weight in chocolate, alcohol and shortbread (not too sure if shortbread is just a scottish think but it's a biscuit. The most amazing biscuit you will ever try). So any way that is number 1 get more healthy.

Number 2. Be a bit more adventurous when it comes to food. Anyone who knows me will know I am the most fussiest eater that ever walked the earth!! I basically live of off cheese pizza and macaroni and cheese that's it nothing else!! I feel sorry for anyone who goes out for meals with me my family friends and Stuart because they always have to go to an Italian restaurant. With the pizza I will not eat it if there is tomatoes on it the sauce is fine but NO SLICED TOMATOES!! Stuart did find a different restaurant Chiquitos it's a Mexican restaurant and they served macaroni and cheese so it was good for him that way he could have something else to eat other than Italian, that dish is now discontinued...not happy. 

Number 3. Save my money. My mum says that money burns a hole in my pocket because I am a bit of a panic buyer. I get paid in my work weekly every Friday I get paid and my money is usually spend buy the Saturday night because I am addicted to boots not to be confused by shoes boots the chemist/pharmacy. I could easily spend about 2 hours browsing through all the make up and all the skincare. I can't go into town or a shopping centre and not go into boots just to have a look, even though I am sure that every boots have the same thing as the week before but you never know. Stuart has now banned my from going in!! He doesn't know that I can still buy online.

So there you have it my 3 life changing decisions:- Get healthy, Eat properly and Save money.

What's in my bag.

Hello everyone today's blog post is going to be my "Whats in my Handbag" 

The handbag I am currently using in the Zara Mini Office City bag the bag comes in 3 different colours Grey, Aubergine and Navy I have the navy one because on the sight I didn't really like the look of the other colours and navy is my black. The bag right now it is my pride and joy I was eyeing it on the Zara website for about 3 weeks I was holding out for the sale but I was getting to impatient in case it get discontinued (this happens to me a lot). The bag has 3 compartments I am the type of person who loses things in a small bag, 2 sections of the bag just have a clasp and the middle section has a zip and is padded so you can put an iPad in. In the zip compartment I keep my valuable items my phone purse/wallet iPod and keys. In the open sections I just keep my glasses perfume head phones and random beauty pieces.

Compact mirror from forever 21, Benefit they're real mascara, Optrex actimist eye spray for itchy& watery eyes, baby lips hydrate, Kate Moss Rimmel lipstick in the colour 107, l'Occitane hand cream essential for winter, Maybeline FIT me concealer, Rimmel Stay Matt pressed powder perfect for oily skin and Migraleve I suffer from really bad migraines I have for about the last 9 years normally I would just go to sleep in a dark room but if I am in work out out and about this easies it of. It doesn't take it away but it helps me through it.

Happy New Year 2014

   HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

First post of 2014!! 

This is just a really quick little one just to say I hope you all had an amazing new year with all off your friends and family. I hope that 2014 brings you health, happiness and make fantastic memories.

In 2013 I have had a great year, I wrote my first blog post, went to Florida and Dublin with Stuart, my best friend had the most perfect little girl Orlaith Rose Canning and I was honoured that they asked me to be her godmother. 

I spent new year with family, we went to the Holiday Inn Theatre Land Glasgow and it was a lovely night there was Me, Stuart, my Mum, Dad and my Sister, my Granny, Auntie, Uncle and my two younger cousins Pierce and Shay.

So in 2014 I am not going to make any new year resolutions, I am just gonna take everyday as it comes and live it to the fullest.
