What is in my Bag?

Hello everyone how are we all this cold crisp December morning?
I am really sorry about the lack of content coming up on my blog before I was in quite a good routine with writing them but November and December so far have been very stressful and quite tiring that has all finished now and I am back. so to start back into the swing of things here is my what is in my bag.

The bag I am currently using is a small Rose Gold crossover bag I got this last year from New Look and I think it cost around £9 or £10 unfortunately I have searched through New Looks website and I don't think it can be purchased anymore.

Recently I have been trying to carry smaller bags as I always take a huge big bag that weighs a ton and I start to stress out because its too heavy and its hurting my shoulder and I feel like I am carrying my full life in my bag. So that why I have been carrying a smaller bag.

1. Paco Rabbane Olympia perfume
2.Sure bright bouquet deodorant
3.Rose Gold hair brush
4.Keys
5.Louis Vitton Pouch
6.Bath and Body Works Dazzling Diamond Hand Sanitizer
7.Burts Bees lip balm
8.Soap n Glory lip stick - Naked Beige
9. Coin Purse
10. Chanel Sunglasses (fake)

So everyone these are all the essentials that I have in my hand bag I hope that you enjoyed.

My Hair Care Routine and Back Story

Hello everyone how are you all this evening?

As you can tell by the title this blog post is going to be about my hair care routine. I have quite long hair that is very thick at the top of my scalp but very thin at the bottom, my hair is now my own natural brunette hair colour about 3 years ago I had very short thin blonde hair until I decided one morning that I was going to dye it back to my natural hair colour. Personally i think my hair is a lot more healthier than when it was blonde I found that it looked very dry and frizzy.

Since dying my hair back to my natural colour I find that it is a lot more manageable I can leave my hair 2-3 days before needing to wash it where as before when I have my blonde hair I had to wash it twice a day just to be able to style it. That being said I now hardly do any heat styling to it. I mostly have a day with my hair down either straight or curly and 1 or 2 days with my hair up in a pony tail or a top not bun.

Thats the kind of short back story to my hair now for the routine:-

Before I wash my hair I will always brush it first as my hair can be quite knotty, when washing my hair I tend to wash it with shampoo twice, my hair can be quite greasy and the 2nd wash will usually make it feel clean as the first time does not take that feeling of being heavy and greasy away. The products I have been using is the Toni and Guy Damage Repair Shampoo and Conditioner

recently I personally don't like it I use to use it when I first went back to brown but I really don't like it I am using it up, I can do a review on this shampoo and conditioner just leave a message in the comments. Then I follow up with the conditioner and brush it through with a wide tooth comb and rinse it out.

When drying my hair I like to use a heat protectant the one I have currently been using is the Got2Be Guardian Angel 220ÂșC Heat Protectant but personally I find that all heat protectants are as soon as each other so I am not too fussy when it come to choosing one, As my hair is so long I find that when drying the way I have the best result is to just crazy dry it by flipping my hair forward and don't take too much effort when doing it. I don't particularly use a brush when drying my hair I will mostly use my Tangle Teezer I did a review on this a few years ago you can read it here.

As I said before I don't really do much heat styling to my hair the only styling that I  do it straightening or curly. Both products that I use are from the brand GHD I have the wide straighteners I find that with them being a bit wider I can straighten a larger area than with the thin plates. The curling tongs that I use is the GHD Curve Soft Curl Tong I will only really use this when I either have time or if I am going out as I find curling my hair is very time consuming when I finish curling my hair I will tend to spray it with Toni and Guy hairspray.

So everyone that is my hair care routine I hope that you enjoyed reading about my personal hair story, If you would like me to do a review on the Toni and Guy shampoo and conditioner then please do let me know in the comments.

Evening Routine

Hello everyone how are you all autumnal evening?

As it is starting to get darker in the evening a little bit earlier now in the UK I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to do an evening routine.

On a typical work day I finish work at around 5:30pm and I will get home just before 6. The minute I get home I will take my dirty work clothes off and change into my Pajama's or loungewear and put my dirty clothes either in the washing machine or in the washing basket to be washed.

After that I make my way into the kitchen and make myself a cup of tea to heat me up. Then I will make my dinner, while I am waiting for that I will go into the living room or bedroom and tidy up after stuart as he starts and finishes work after me and he is a boy and you know boys are messy.

Then I will check my emails, youtube or play a game on my iPad then have my dinner I will usually make extra and heat it up when stuart comes home. After dinner I will tidy up the kitchen and put everything away.

After that I will go into the bathroom and take off my makeup with my mac cleanse off oil then go in for a shower, I wash my hair every 2nd-3rd day so depending on what day it is I will do my full hair routine. Once I have been showered I will do my skincare routine if you read my monthly favourites you will see that I have been quite minimalistic with my skincare you can read it here

After my shower and skincare routine I will put on my Pajamas that I will always put on the radiator in the bathroom so they are nice and cosy. Then I go back into the kitchen and make another cup off tea, make my way in to the living room and by this time stuart is usually home from work and we will sit on the couch and watch Masterchef, Netflix or a movie and talk about our day like an old man and woman.

I also get very tired very quickly, in the UK the clocks went back an hour and that hour has taken it toll on me when it is 11:00 my usual time that I would go to bed it is only 10:00 so the tiredness is creeping up on me. So when I eventually cant fight sleep anymore and go to bed I will try to read a few pages from my book. The book I am currently reading is The Strange Case or Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde its a great story I would highly recommend reading it once I cant take anymore tiredness I will set my alarm for work the next morning and go to the land of nod.

Good Night.

I hope that you enjoy reading my Evening Routine. If you have done an Evening Routine put a link in the comments below I would love to read it.

thank you so much for watching.

October Favourites

Hello everyone.
I cant believe I am saying this but how can we be November I feel like it was just Christmas.

So with the end of a month there is always favourite products, items and things so here are my favourite things that I have been loving this month.

SKINCARE:

This month I have really tried to not use as much products on my face because I have found that my skin needs to breath and that too much product has been making my skin breakout. So I have only been using 2 products on my face.

MAKE UP:

I have been keeping my makeup pretty low key this month it mostly consists of Eye Shadow Mascara and a bit of Lipstick

PERFUME:

I recently purchased a perfume when I was in Greece at duty free I have been eyeing it up for a while and when I pass by any perfume shop I will go in and smell it.

FOOD & DRINK:

This is the best part the food and drink.

I didnt have any dinky deckers to show you because i ate them!

So everyone that is my October favourites I hope that you enjoyed reading it.

TMI Periods

Hello everyone how are we all today?

I am bringing you a bit of a controversial blog post today. So if you are a girl/woman reading this then you know what this post entails if you are a boy/man maybe not so much. So wether you call it Period, Time of the Month, The Curse of Eve or if you call it something a bit more crude then you know exactly what I am talking about.

I am just going to go through the things that make me feel a little bit better when it is that time of the month and also a little bit about my period experience when really all I want to do it cocoon myself in my duvet with my comfy jammies on and shut myself away from the world but wether you are at work school or just need to leave the house you just need to get up and as Taylor Swift would
say "Shake It Off".

Everyones experience of their period is completely different, Personally my period usually lasts about 3-4 days and it is also quite light I am quite lucky in that sense. When I was younger 1 use to be really bad and I took quite alot of time off school if you have this problem i would suggest going to see you GP there is alot of thing you doctor can give you to help. On the market there are loads of different products and brands that you can use everything it is really down to trial and error.

A few things that make me feel better are:

Herbal Tea - I like Teapigs herbal tea my favourite is the peppermint one.

Soup - Heinz Tomato Soup fixes everything (if you dont like tomato anything will do)

Chocolate - Chocolate is bae thats obvious but dark chocolate is proven to take away cramp

Heat - Wether it is a heat pad or hot water bottle heat in generally is good at this time of the month

Comfort - if you can wear your comfiest clothes wear the heck out of them, for work I wear a uniform but as soon as I get home I will put on my jammies fluffy socks and hoodie

Hygiene - Personally I dont like to take a bath I would rather take a shower use products that you like the scent off and that make you feel better, I like to use the Femfresh Ultimate Care Pure & Fresh Gel Wash you can buy it here

Happiness - I know that when it is the time of the month your life is ending but try and do something that makes you feel happy wether that may be watch a movie read a book go a walk or go shopping at this time just do something that makes YOU happy.

Skincare - Let your skin breath if you ware make up when you have your period either dont wear make up or keep it light and just pamper yourself i.e face masks facials ect...

So everyone I hope that you enjoyed my TMI blog post as always if there is anything that you want me to write about or review just let me know in the comments or in any of my social media linked below.

Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara

Hello everyone, how are you all?
I am back today with a review on the Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara.

I have been using this mascara for about the past 2 or 3 weeks now and I have to say I am in love with it. My usual go to mascara would be the Benefit They're Real Mascara, but you know girls on a budget these days so needs must.

I purchased with my own (GBP) the Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara in my local Boots store when I was in town recently, You can also purchase it if you click here

I bought the waterproof version as I have quite oily skin and through the day in my work where it has industrial air condition and I also have to go outside so my make up is exposed to most of the elements, Me personally I always opt for the waterproof version in a mascara because of that reason if you would like the non waterproof mascara you can click here and it will take you to Boots where you can purchase it.

In my personal opinion I think that the Lash Sensational is probably a really good dupe for the Benefit They're Real Mascara. It has the same consistency as the Benefit one it is quite a wet mascara and the brush has very small individual bristles which it tapered in a half moon shape so it gets into every lash. I find that with most mascaras I need to put more than one coat on my lashes as I feel that my lashes are still quite limp.

I am really impressed by this mascara as I always feel that because a product is so close to your eyes the more expensive it is the better it is. With this product I have been totally proven wrong as I haven't had any problems with putting it on or taking it off and it hasn't caused me any problems with it irritating my eyes as I have had with previous mascaras if you would like I can do a review on the specific product.

So that rounds off my review on the Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara.
I hope that you enjoy reading it, I really want to make an effort and write more blog posts I really enjoy writing them. If there is anything at all you would like me to post about then please do write in the comments or on any social media that I linked below or even if you just want to say hi i love reading your comments.

REVIEW :- L'Oreal Paris Elvive - Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing Shampoo & Conditioner

Hello Everyone

I have realised that I have not wrote a blog post in a quite a while so her we go..

This blog post is going to be about the new L'Oreal Paris Elvive - Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing Shampoo and Conditioner .

I bought the shampoo and conditioner last week or the week before from Morrison's for £2 each, I had seen it advertised on tv and I had seen a few YouTubers raving about it.

I have really greasy roots and dry ends so when I buy shampoo and conditioner that is usually the first thing that narrows down my choice for my selection. The previous shampoo I have been using I had gone through 2 or 3 bottles and I was starting to fine that my hair was starting to feel weighed down and not more bounce to it.

When I bought the shampoo and conditioner my local Morrison's did not have the 1st step which is they Clay Masque, I used the shampoo and conditioner with out the Clay Masque and I was not impressed at all, my hair still looked greasy weighed down and for some reason quite sticky to touch.

So today when I was in town I went to Boots and I bought the Clay Masque, I used it tonight when I washed my hair I didn't change my routine and I have noticed a massive difference. I would highly recommend using the full range not just 1 or 2 of the products.

I have had a look to see if I can find it cheap for you guys and it looks like Boots is the cheapest they have the 3 for 2 offer running just now. There is one other item in the range the dry shampoo, I might try it but I have a dry shampoo that personally I keep going back to the Batiste original (incase you where wondering)

So to sum up what I think of the new L'Oreal Paris Elvive - Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing range. I really like it but only with the three steps not just the shampoo and conditioner.

That is it for my little review on the new L'Oreal Paris Elvive - Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing I hope that you enjoyed reading. If there is anything else you would like me to review and write a blog post on then please let me know in the comment section below.
