TMI Periods

Hello everyone how are we all today?

I am bringing you a bit of a controversial blog post today. So if you are a girl/woman reading this then you know what this post entails if you are a boy/man maybe not so much. So wether you call it Period, Time of the Month, The Curse of Eve or if you call it something a bit more crude then you know exactly what I am talking about.

I am just going to go through the things that make me feel a little bit better when it is that time of the month and also a little bit about my period experience when really all I want to do it cocoon myself in my duvet with my comfy jammies on and shut myself away from the world but wether you are at work school or just need to leave the house you just need to get up and as Taylor Swift would
say "Shake It Off".

Everyones experience of their period is completely different, Personally my period usually lasts about 3-4 days and it is also quite light I am quite lucky in that sense. When I was younger 1 use to be really bad and I took quite alot of time off school if you have this problem i would suggest going to see you GP there is alot of thing you doctor can give you to help. On the market there are loads of different products and brands that you can use everything it is really down to trial and error.

A few things that make me feel better are:

Herbal Tea - I like Teapigs herbal tea my favourite is the peppermint one.

Soup - Heinz Tomato Soup fixes everything (if you dont like tomato anything will do)

Chocolate - Chocolate is bae thats obvious but dark chocolate is proven to take away cramp

Heat - Wether it is a heat pad or hot water bottle heat in generally is good at this time of the month

Comfort - if you can wear your comfiest clothes wear the heck out of them, for work I wear a uniform but as soon as I get home I will put on my jammies fluffy socks and hoodie

Hygiene - Personally I dont like to take a bath I would rather take a shower use products that you like the scent off and that make you feel better, I like to use the Femfresh Ultimate Care Pure & Fresh Gel Wash you can buy it here

Happiness - I know that when it is the time of the month your life is ending but try and do something that makes you feel happy wether that may be watch a movie read a book go a walk or go shopping at this time just do something that makes YOU happy.

Skincare - Let your skin breath if you ware make up when you have your period either dont wear make up or keep it light and just pamper yourself i.e face masks facials ect...

So everyone I hope that you enjoyed my TMI blog post as always if there is anything that you want me to write about or review just let me know in the comments or in any of my social media linked below.

Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara

Hello everyone, how are you all?
I am back today with a review on the Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara.

I have been using this mascara for about the past 2 or 3 weeks now and I have to say I am in love with it. My usual go to mascara would be the Benefit They're Real Mascara, but you know girls on a budget these days so needs must.

I purchased with my own (GBP) the Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara in my local Boots store when I was in town recently, You can also purchase it if you click here

I bought the waterproof version as I have quite oily skin and through the day in my work where it has industrial air condition and I also have to go outside so my make up is exposed to most of the elements, Me personally I always opt for the waterproof version in a mascara because of that reason if you would like the non waterproof mascara you can click here and it will take you to Boots where you can purchase it.

In my personal opinion I think that the Lash Sensational is probably a really good dupe for the Benefit They're Real Mascara. It has the same consistency as the Benefit one it is quite a wet mascara and the brush has very small individual bristles which it tapered in a half moon shape so it gets into every lash. I find that with most mascaras I need to put more than one coat on my lashes as I feel that my lashes are still quite limp.

I am really impressed by this mascara as I always feel that because a product is so close to your eyes the more expensive it is the better it is. With this product I have been totally proven wrong as I haven't had any problems with putting it on or taking it off and it hasn't caused me any problems with it irritating my eyes as I have had with previous mascaras if you would like I can do a review on the specific product.

So that rounds off my review on the Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara.
I hope that you enjoy reading it, I really want to make an effort and write more blog posts I really enjoy writing them. If there is anything at all you would like me to post about then please do write in the comments or on any social media that I linked below or even if you just want to say hi i love reading your comments.

REVIEW :- L'Oreal Paris Elvive - Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing Shampoo & Conditioner

Hello Everyone

I have realised that I have not wrote a blog post in a quite a while so her we go..

This blog post is going to be about the new L'Oreal Paris Elvive - Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing Shampoo and Conditioner .

I bought the shampoo and conditioner last week or the week before from Morrison's for £2 each, I had seen it advertised on tv and I had seen a few YouTubers raving about it.

I have really greasy roots and dry ends so when I buy shampoo and conditioner that is usually the first thing that narrows down my choice for my selection. The previous shampoo I have been using I had gone through 2 or 3 bottles and I was starting to fine that my hair was starting to feel weighed down and not more bounce to it.

When I bought the shampoo and conditioner my local Morrison's did not have the 1st step which is they Clay Masque, I used the shampoo and conditioner with out the Clay Masque and I was not impressed at all, my hair still looked greasy weighed down and for some reason quite sticky to touch.

So today when I was in town I went to Boots and I bought the Clay Masque, I used it tonight when I washed my hair I didn't change my routine and I have noticed a massive difference. I would highly recommend using the full range not just 1 or 2 of the products.

I have had a look to see if I can find it cheap for you guys and it looks like Boots is the cheapest they have the 3 for 2 offer running just now. There is one other item in the range the dry shampoo, I might try it but I have a dry shampoo that personally I keep going back to the Batiste original (incase you where wondering)

So to sum up what I think of the new L'Oreal Paris Elvive - Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing range. I really like it but only with the three steps not just the shampoo and conditioner.

That is it for my little review on the new L'Oreal Paris Elvive - Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing I hope that you enjoyed reading. If there is anything else you would like me to review and write a blog post on then please let me know in the comment section below.

Life Update

Hello Everyone
How are we all on this fine Sunday morning?
I am currently tucked up in bed with toothache from my wisdom tooth and watching youtube videos
so I though I would write a blog post as I haven't since away before Christmas (bad blogger) here is my last blog post that I did it was my weekend skin routine HERE

So  here is an update to let you know what has been happening since I last wrote a post
I turned 25 that alone has made me feel old, I actually got a birthday card from my friend that said quarter way to 100. 25 to me doesn't seem that old until someone says that to you it feels like your heart has been ripped out of your chest (possibly a bit of an exaggeration).

I moved into my own flat with my boyfriend Stuart.
I love it having my own independence but I do still miss my mum,
I had never realised the amount of stress that comes with moving, we moved into and unfurnished flat so that meant we had to start from scratch we had nothing but my bed, stuarts tv and a kettle, we moved in just over 3 weeks ago and we are now just starting to get the place in order.

Tomorrow me and Stuart are going back to Centre Parks Monday to Friday then once I come back and am planning on making YouTube videos again as I haven't done a proper one since last summer, I don't know why I stopped I was really enjoying making them and editing them. I have my Camera, Tripod and Lights somewhere in the flat I just need to find them. On my blog this is where most of you seem to be so please if you have any requests then please let me know I can do home stuff or beauty I would love to do Vlogging but I am a bit shy I tried it once before and I saw a few people looking at me so my camera went back in my bag and that was it but on my days off me and Stuart try to get away from the city and go to the coast so I might take you guys along with us, and take a look at the west coast of Scotland.

So everyone that has just been a few things that I have been getting up to since the last time I wrote a blog post. I hope that you enjoyed reading it.

Thanks for Watching

My Weekend Morning Routine

Hello everyone

I Haven't wrote a blog post in such a long time I just haven't had the motivation to write anything.
So here is something that I do pretty much every Saturday(I have to work on a Sunday) My Weekend Morning Routine.

First of all when I wake up I will usually check my phone.

Then I will take my snuggly bright Pink housecoat then shuffle down stairs and make my breakfast usually I will have some cereal or toast and a cup of coffee.

After I finish my Breakfast I go back upstairs and have a shower, the products I use in the shower are Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub and Original Source Lime shower gel I like to use this in the morning because I feel that it wakes me up. After my shower I brush my teeth and wash my face, I wash my face with Sanctuary Fresh Faced Purifying Wash and Simple Smoothing Facial Scrub.

Then go back into my room and start getting ready I always use Bioderma which I have been using for quite a a while now I did a blog post on it you can read it HERE and I put on my moisturiser the one that I have been using is the Simple Kind to Skin+ Protecting Moisture Cream SPF30.

On a day to day basis I generally wear contact lenses but on my days off I like to give my eyes a bit of a rest so after I have done my make up I will wear my glasses. On my days off I try to be as natural as possible because I feel that my skin need to breath and not be clogged with make up every day so I tend to just use a bit of concealer just under my eyes and any Red areas I have been using the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer and blending that in the the Real Techniques Contour Brush, the only other make up item that I use is Benefit They're Real Mascara.

Then get ready, at the weekend I like to keep it quite casual so jeans and a top is usually my go to outfit, because the weather in Glasgow isn't the best my footwear tends to change between Converse, UGG boots or Hunter wellies. As its October and starting to Cool down I am leaning more towards the UGGs and Hunters.

So everyone that is My Weekend Morning Routine. I hope that you enjoy reading it. Recently I just don't seem to have any motivation to make youtube videos or blogposts but I am pretty sure that will pass and I will be back to a routine.

Thanks for Watching
